Katy Rushton, born and raised in England, attended Lindum College to study counselling. Her final year included completing a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Diploma, and a Creative Therapy Diploma. Now living in the US, Katy graduated from Brigham Young University Idaho with a degree in Marriage and Family Studies and is the co-founder of Aspen Family Wellness Center; a place for individuals, couples, and families to receive quality coaching and education.
To Katy, coaching offers the platform and environment for people to let go of the old story and script, and create a life built upon self-belief, worth, and intentional living. As an educator, mentor, coach, and speaker, Katy applies techniques from all her training in a motivational and creative style. When you work with her, you can expect a coach who has a wonderful balance of encouragement and boldness with a fun-loving English accent.
With university teaching experience, Katy developed an introductory skills course for coaching. This class helps prepare people to become certified through the BCC (board certified coach) and go onto specialized training with WholeFit and/or other programs.
